Card 1 ~ SULIS ~ Bodies of Water

“Spend time near water, such as a lake, river or the ocean, to recharge your batteries.”

Message From Sulis: “The curative effects of water are well known and well documented. Since the human body is composed almost entirely of water, this makes sense. Water can wash away sadness, pain, and the ill effects of suffering. Engage in purification rituals involving water more often, and you will experience an uplifting in your spirit and outlook. Water’s magical properties are amplified when you infuse it with your prayers and intentions. Whether you soak in a sea-salt bath, or bathe in a freshwater spring, you are sure to see the difference that water will make.”

About Sulis (pronounced SULL-iss): Sulis is a Celtic sun goddess who oversees bodies of water associated with healing. The fountain of healing water in Bath, England, is named in Sulis’s honor. Call upon Sulis while conducting healing ceremonies involving water, while taking a revitalizing swim of bath, or when you need help arranging your schedule of finances to allow a trip to the ocean or lake.”

Water heals , rejuvenates, replenishes, restores…even if you can’t physically go to the water in this moment, look at a photo or visualize yourself at the ocean, a lake or a river and feel the energy of the water and the environment. Also, hydrate/drink more water. 🙂 

Card 2 ~VESTA ~ Home

“Your household situation is improving, either through a move or a healthy change in the occupants.”

Various meanings of this card: You are moving to a new home. You have just moved. A new person is moving in. Someone is moving out. There is increased romance and/or harmony in the home. A problem with neighbors is resolving. Clear the space in your home. Remodel. Know that your home is safe and protected.

About Vesta: (pronounced VEST-uh): Vesta is the Roman goddess of home and hearth. Vesta is a fire goddess who brings warmth to house holds, both as a temperature and as an emotion. In ancient Rome, a temple in her honor bore a flame that burned continually. Call upon Vesta to oversee any changes you would like to make in your living situation.”

Card 3 ~ OSTARA ~ Fertility

You can paint a sunnier outlook within yourself, which will give rise to all sorts of new opportunities, since like attracts like. Feel more energized and powerful as you spruce up your inner and outer worlds. Then capitalize on this increased vigor by starting a new project that really makes your heart sing with excitement!”

She is celebrated during the spring equinox as the bringer of increased light and the balance between nighttime and daytime hours. Call upon Ostara to increase your fruitfulness, fertility, or to help you embark on new ventures.”

Card 4 ~ Kuan Yin ~ Compassion

Message From Kuan Yin: “Gentleness is the strength behind true power, and it comes from feeding yourself with nourishing words, thoughts, deeds, intentions, and all forms of food. Shield yourself from harshness by placing an intention to attract only kind and gentle life lessons and relationships. Transform harshness into gentleness by refusing to see anything but the shining light that is within each person and situation. This intention begins with your relationship with yourself. Be very gentle with yourself in all ways. Be happy, be kind, be sweet, but most of all, be true to who you are.”

Various Additional Meanings Of This Card: Release guilt and shame to Heaven for healing and transmutation. Keep your thoughts about yourself and others positive. Avoid gossip or bad-mouthing of yourself or others. Forgive yourself or another. Do not be so hard on yourself or others. Release perfectionistic tendencies.

About Kuan Yin (pronounced Qwan Yin): The Eastern goddess Kuan Yin hears all prayers and is the essence of purity, nurturing love, and gentle power. Kuan Yin is a Bodhisattva, meaning that she is eligible for Buddhahood. Yet, she has vowed to stay near Earth until all beings are enlightened. This youthful and beautiful goddess helps us feel compassion and mercy toward ourselves and others. She is also a protectress of women and children, and she awakens musical interests and abilities as well as psychic clairvoyance.”

Card 5 ~ White Tara ~ Sensitivity

“You are becoming increasingly sensitive. Avoid harsh relationships, environments, situations, and chemicals.”

Message From White Tara: “As you have purified your inner world of thoughts, actions, and intentions, it’s natural that you seek purity in your outer world as well. This is to acknowledge your heightened sensitivity, which is as real as it seems! you have stripped away the outer protective layers of unneeded defenses, which blocked your psychic and spiritual awareness. Now you are on the path of ascension, which calls for your heightened awareness. And with this awareness does new levels of sensitivity to the impure and harsh. Your body is a trust worthy instrument of measurement of your tolerance level. Steer clear of that which your body signals you to avoid. Take excellent care of your body, and it shall serve you well!”

Various meanings of this card: Acknowledge and honor your sensitivity. take steps to protect yourself from negativity. Avoid chemicals. Steer clear of situations with loud noise, crowds, violent media, and other triggers.

About White Tara (pronounced Tair-uh): White Tara is an aspect of Tara, a female Buddha and Hindu Mother Creator. The many female faces of the Buddha and Mother Creator are represented as various colours of Tara. White Tara represents purity, maturity, and compassion. The eyes on her hands, feet and forehead allow her to be aware of all prayers. She helps us to live long and peaceful lives.”
