CARD 1
SURRENDER

Death, like life, is constant. Everything in existence is constantly dying and being reborn – from the cells in our body, to our thoughts and feelings, to the constant shifting cycles of nature. Like most aspects of nature, the human psyche also goes through larger cycles. The earth has her days, nights, 28 day moon cycle, 12 months sun cycle and seasons just to name a few.
We also have cycles and more often than not they are in complete attunement to the natural cycles. Whether that be through day, night, the weather, seasons or astrology, we have cycles and rhythms that are in tune with nature, regardless of whether we choose to be conscious of it or not.
The part of the cycle coming up here is death. At this stage we deal with a release and surrender. We must at this stage release some aspect of our life and our self. Beyond that we must release the ego; the part of ourself that is attached to identity, to itself being seen, being right, the part that buys into the illusion of believing that we can ever truly know the unknowable. At this time a surrender must occur. A surrender to God, to life, to Great Mystery, the universe and the higher intelligence that exists in love.
Once this occurs, a new kind of freedom is achieved within the psyche and the spirit and we become a clean slate for a new phase to begin.
A death phase can be exciting, terrifying, estatic, devastating, or even all of the above, depending on what is occurring for you. Humans are generally petrified of giving up the ego self. This is why we are afraid of death. But the ego must now be released in order to experience new life.
Ultimately all that can be done is to process whatever feelings are coming up and surrender to this divine and natural cycle of consciousness. Inability to surrender will only result in this part of the cycle being a longer, more drawn-out and difficult process than it necessarily has to be.
Above all, a true sense of liberation now awaits you. A new phase. Change is occurring now, embrace and surrender to it.

CHILDREN
Archangel Metatron
Archangel Metatron acts as the link between the human and the divine. This is exactly what children are. It’s no wonder he’s the patron angel of children.
Children completely live in the now. They live in the truth of their feelings and perceptions. Children come completely from the God-space and throughout childhood learn to integrate into the human world. As adults, we hope to integrate the lesson that the human world is the God-space dreaming and at the end of our lives we return to that original source.
As children, the world is full of possibility. It is a magical place to be explored and enjoyed. Feelings, magic, curiosity, adventure and imagination. All these qualities live, breathe and express themselves through the open and innocent heart of a child.
It is time for you to open up to the wonder of life.
It is time for you to connect to the child within. It is time to play, explore, feel and connect to the realms of possibility. It is time to let go of the need to do and embrace the need to be.
A release from all the “should dos”, the pressures, responsibilities and seriousness of busy, uptight and often grumpy adult life is necessary now.
Now is the time to be curious, explore, play and connect to the magic of life.
If you have children or are close to any children, use them as your guide. Let them be your teacher and remind you of how to be free in your spirit and explore the wonders of life, creativity, imagination and possibility.

CARD 3
MUSIC
Archangel Israel
Sound is at the core of creation. Anything made up of atoms vibrates, resonates and sings. Our whole world is made up of sound. Whether birds, traffic, people or machinery, we are constantly being inundated with sonic information. There are so many sounds that surround us that we do not even hear, as human hearing only registers certain decibels and frequencies.
All the particles that make up matter resonate at certain frequencies and when they interact with other particles of matter, sound is created through waves of compression.
We experience these waves both sonically through hearing but also physically as a sound wave interacts with both energetic and physical bodies.
Each sound made creates an energy. It is extremely important for you to pay attention to what sonic information you’re receiving right now and take note of how this is affecting you.
Each individual vibrates to different frequencies and responds to the frequencies that harmonize most effectively with the individual’s energetic make-up. Therefore it is important to be aware of what sounds and music heal you, inspire you and bring you back to your core self.
The power of sound and music is so profound that each time we listen to a song, our whole energetic system transforms to either harmonize with the song or repel it.
Our energy field, emotions, body and spirit are actually transformed and become reborn with each sonic interaction.
This is the sonic power of creation; how new experiences, new worlds, deeper or buried parts of ourselves open up to us through the power of sound.
According to many creation stories, our world was born to the power of a sound or word spoken. This is because sound is the product of existence in motion.
This is the time to use the power of sound music to heal, inspire, nurture and transform your life.

CARD 4
BATTLE
Samael
All throughout history there are stories and myths about heroes going into battle, fighting dragons or even battling through dangerous territory at sea. These stories represent the hero standing in the face of danger, ready to confront his or her shadow. They represent the heroes willingness to surrender to a higher state of consciousness at the expense of all ego attachments such as pride, greed and compulsion. The hero is even willing to die as he or she has connected to being part of the eternal consciousness of life, rather than the ego or identity state of consciousness.
So as the hero goes out to battle dragons in order to bring the good back to his or her town, he or she is actually going on a journey to face the shadow in order to bring the goods back to his or her self so that movement can be made into the next phase of life, on an internal level.
It may now be time for you to go on this journey. You may feel surrounded by obstacles, temptations, and danger, but rather than getting scared or overwhelmed it is time to stop, look at what is occurring around you, connect to your deeper sense of personal truth and then battle those dragons in whichever way you know you need to.
This is a time to sacrifice your ego and fight for your highest truth with courage and integrity. Everything in this universe is perfect and in perfect order. It is the interacting polarities that keep things in place and moving in perfect synchronicity.
Decide now where you want to be. What are you willing to fight for? What do you need to fight for? Have you become disconnected or numb, lost in mundane thought, TV and routine? It is absolutely time to wake up! This is a call to adventure. What are you going to fight for?

THE SHADOW SELF

The shadow self holds the keys to unlocking the wisdom of the deeper self. It is the shadow that holds the secrets to creating true and profound change and realization. All our hidden impulses, secret fears, judgments, projections, illusions, limitations and seductions, lie in the shadow.
Through facing our shadow we can dissolve the underlying impulses that govern our lives, thereby allowing a deep and profound shift in consciousness to occur. We can become capable of standing whole, in our integrity as we direct our lives forward.
We all have these hidden impulses, secret fears, judgment, projections, illusions, limitations and seductions. When they exist and operate underneath our conscious awareness, we lose our sense of what is occurring for us in our lives. We may complain about money, work, relationships, or health, not seeing how our unconscious workings are dictating all of these things.
When we face our shadow, we reclaim full ownership and responsibility of our lives and give ourselves the power to transform both ourselves and our lives into what we want them to be.
When we see the world as a reflection of ourselves, this gives us the power to transform finances, work, relationships and health into what we would like them to be. We are and always have been in total creative control of our lives and our reality. As whole and self-aware individuals we have the power to use that awareness to shift our consciousness and create profound change.
This is the time of deep transformation for you. It is essential that you look within and face all shadow aspects of yourself. You are currently in the process of liberating yourself from old illusions, fears, limitations, and hidden impulses. This is not an easy process but one that creates deep and lasting change, placing the power to direct your life, completely in your hands. There is an inner revolution occurring, one which will create an outer revolution in your life.
